Service Architect Job Description

At Insight Enterprises, we're seeking a skilled Service Architect to join our EMEA Services Delivery function. As a key member of our team, you'll provide high-quality customer support across assigned regions, collaborating closely with our Enterprise Architect to create solution scenarios and user stories that drive the development of tailored services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design of IT services, demonstrating a deep understanding of client drivers, requirements, contractual agreements, service architecture, and service management.
  • Translate client requirements into a service design that outlines the scope of the service(s), delivery model(s), people and processes involved, service level agreements (SLAs), and operational level agreements (OLAs).
  • Produce or update client-specific contractual agreements and obtain sign-off from the client.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and clear service design.
  • Develop service models that support operational teams in delivering services and create service design packs that articulate how services should work with clear operational workflows.
  • Oversee multiple client-facing programs and projects concurrently, creating thorough project plans with clear milestones and deadlines, and communicating risks and progress to clients and internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Assist the Project Management Office in understanding potential service risks, dependencies, and issues, and raise awareness of their impact on the project while mitigating them within scope.
  • Develop and maintain a RACI chart that tracks and shows which teammates are responsible for which procedures, tasks, and actions in the solution design process.
