**Job Responsibilities**

We are seeking a skilled Harness Design Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Representing LEONI in customer vehicle project teams
  • Analyzing customer designs and requirements to generate wiring harness design solutions
  • Performing design analysis to ensure the design of the wiring systems is fully integrated within the vehicle
  • Ensuring design guidelines are accurately reflected in every phase of the product
  • Managing the design release process in customer systems
  • Collaborating with LEONI 3D and 2D designers to process harness designs and engineering changes
  • Using relevant methods and tools, such as DFMEA, DFM, and Design Reviews
  • Creating initial wiring harness parts lists and complexity studies
  • Liaising with manufacturing operations to ensure manufacturing feasibility
  • Supporting build phases in harness manufacturing and vehicle assembly plants
  • Supporting customer meetings and requests

**Requirements**

  • Industrial Engineering or Logistics Engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's)
  • Knowledge of production process design
  • Advanced fluent English (spoken, read, and written)
  • Cooperation and ability to work in a team, communication skills, and conflict resolution
