Job Title: Product Owner - Automotive Digital Solutions

Applus IDIADA is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to lead the development of digital solutions to support IDIADA engineering services and client interaction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the definition and implementation of a client portal enhancing IDIADA's digital experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, project management, vehicle testing, and engineering experts to ensure successful delivery of a solution addressing relevant challenges and promoting technological advancements.
  • Defining and communicating the product vision, roadmap, and strategic direction, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term objectives.
  • Identifying potential risks and challenges associated with project delivery and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Implementing agile methodologies and best practices to manage project development, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
  • Overseeing the quality of deliverables, ensuring they meet stakeholder expectations while adhering to project budgets and timelines.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience as a project manager, product owner, or similar role, preferably in the automotive or technology industry.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and with product management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Passion for innovation, with a keen interest in data-driven technologies and the future of mobility.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate within large-scale projects.
  • Understanding of automotive engineering is a plus.
  • Experience in design, implementation, and maintenance of database systems is a plus.
