About the Team
Based in Madrid and guided by the Senior Principal of Airline Consulting and the Head of Consulting for the Europe, Middle-East, and Africa (EMEA) region, the IATA Consulting Intern will engage in various consulting initiatives across the EMEA area.
Daily Responsibilities
The intern will:
- Assist IATA Consultants in the development of technical documentation, including reports and presentations, as part of ongoing projects;
- Manage logistical and administrative tasks;
- Inquire with internal Subject Matter Experts regarding their interest in participating in IATA Consulting projects;
- Collaborate with IATA Consultants to prepare technical and commercial proposals;
- Follow up with clients and prospective clients, ensuring exceptional customer service through timely responses;
- Support IATA Consultants in maintaining the commercial pipeline, including updating project credentials;
- Perform additional administrative duties to aid the Consulting team.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (within the last 12 months);
- Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills, capable of drafting reports in English and presenting them effectively;
- Possess a keen analytical mindset and attention to detail;
- Can work independently and meet deadlines;
- Demonstrate a high level of computer proficiency, particularly in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project;
- Have any prior experience in the aviation sector, consulting, or commercial operations, which will be viewed favorably;
- Knowledge of French and Arabic languages is an additional asset.
