About the Role

The Senior Manager, Airline Cargo, IATA Consulting will be responsible for developing IATA Consulting's business in the airline cargo sector globally. This includes managing and delivering consulting engagements, contributing to the life of the Consulting practice through thought leadership, team mentoring, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop IATA Consulting's business in the airline cargo sector, leveraging IATA's brand equity and network to form executive client relationships and generate commercial opportunities.
  • Monitor the release of tenders and requests for proposals, qualifying opportunities and forming bid/no-bid recommendations.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals that reflect IATA's value proposition, capabilities, and credentials.
  • Support the contracting process through closing of the deal.
  • Lead the delivery of consulting engagements, supervising and directing the work of junior consultants, internal IATA subject matter experts, and external subcontractors.
  • Contribute to the life of the Consulting practice, maintaining a pipeline of opportunities and projects, reporting market intelligence, and more.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred.
  • Current or recent experience as a Manager or Senior Manager at a management consulting firm, including MBB, Tier-2, Big Four, and international boutiques.
  • Deep experience and understanding of the airline cargo sector.
  • Strong proficiency in applying consulting skills to Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Impeccable oral and written English communication skills.
  • Knowledge of another European or Asian language a plus.
