We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Space Satellite Operations Manager to lead our Mission Control Center team at Alén Space. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, preparation, and execution of operations for our satellites and payloads.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in spacecraft architecture and subsystems, as well as experience with Python or other scripting languages. They will also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Ongoing monitoring and operations planning of in-orbit LEO satellites and payloads.
- Design and preparation of operations for different missions.
- Preparation of procedures and sequences for our satellite platforms and payloads.
- Analysis of telemetry to monitor the health of constellations, satellites, payloads.
- Preparation and execution of LEOP and Commissioning campaigns.
- Preparation and execution of routine and contingency operations.
- Support to the final on-ground testing of the satellites.
- Collaboration with the software team in developing and testing new tools.
- Evolution of the satellite operation manuals and procedures.
- Collaboration with the system engineering team for new missions design and evolution of the satellite platforms.
- Interaction with customers and other stakeholders like launch providers, ground station networks.
- 5 years of experience in the role of Operations Engineer.
- Knowledge of common spacecraft architecture and subsystems.
- Knowledge of STK.
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
- Calm under pressure (real-time/console operations).
