About the Role
Apex Group is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join our team in Valencia, Spain. As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for the preparation of accurate portfolio valuations on a timely basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with senior management to ensure the planning, coordination, and completion of Net Asset Values (NAVs), management reporting, and statutory reporting of corporate entities.
- Supervise and mentor junior fund accountants to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Liaise with fund managers, brokers, and custodians to communicate information and resolve issues promptly.
- Manage client responsibilities effectively and ensure timely completion of tasks to meet client, regulatory, and statutory deadlines.
Requirements
- Eligibility to register as a Certified Accountant (CA).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
