About the Role

Apex Group is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing accurate portfolio valuations on a timely basis.

This is a full-time role that comes with a favorable salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the assistant manager, manager, and director to ensure the planning, coordination, and completion of NAVs, management reporting, and statutory reporting of corporate entities.
  • Assist with the supervision and mentoring of several trainee fund accountants.
  • Liaise with fund managers, brokers, and custodians to communicate information and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure that client responsibilities are managed effectively and to the agreed client, best practice, regulatory, and statutory deadlines.

Requirements

  • Eligibility to register as a CA(SA).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Structural and detail-oriented.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
