About the Role

Amazon is seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking Transportation Carrier Manager to join the Transportation team. This critical function plays a key role in continuously improving service levels, capacities, and costs of the EU Transportation Line Haul to ensure promises to customers are being maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track existing metrics to detect and remove defects.
  • Manage line haul performance, including on-time truck performance.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Cultivate and facilitate the growth relationship between Amazon and dedicated transport partners.
  • Support contract management and compliance for partners.
  • Plan and execute Q4 operations, including Amazon Peak.
  • Participate in operations planning and goal setting.
  • Maintain and improve communication, processes, and Fulfillment Center/partner interfaces.
  • Develop relationships with partners to drive new opportunities.

About the Team

As part of the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team, you'll be part of a diverse group that plays a central role in Amazon's success. Using air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centers equipped with the latest technology, you'll help Amazon's transport run at maximum efficiency.

Requirements

  • Passion for making data-driven decisions that impact customer experience.
  • Transportation experience in Transport Management, Planning, Compliance, or Performance.
  • Effective communication skills for various audiences.
