We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Operations Director to lead our Industrial Refrigeration and HVAC installation operations in South Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a large team of Installation Managers across France, Spain, Portugal, and Italy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans for installation operations, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of installation managers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure team success.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of installation projects, collaborating with installation managers to develop project plans and manage budgets effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, understanding client needs and providing exceptional customer service.
- Establish and enforce quality control procedures to ensure installations meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
- Monitor and manage the financial performance of installation operations, analyzing financial data and implementing cost control measures to maximize profitability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of installation processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in industrial refrigeration/HVAC installation, with a focus on project management and leadership.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams across multiple countries.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems, including ammonia and/or Freon-based systems.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and financial performance.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to industrial refrigeration installation.
- Willingness to travel as required to oversee installation operations in different countries.
