Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team at FMG Repair Services Limited. As a key member of our assessment team, you will be responsible for inspecting damaged vehicles, assessing the extent of the damage, and preparing detailed estimates for repair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of the damage
  • Prepare detailed estimates for repair, including costs and timeframes
  • Liaise with insurance companies to obtain authority to repair vehicles
  • Communicate effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians to explain repair methodologies
  • Stay up-to-date with repair methodologies and industry developments

Requirements:

  • Qualification in a relevant field, such as NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds
  • Experience in a bodyshop or similar environment
  • Full UK driving licence
