About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team at FMG Repair Services Limited. As a key member of our bodyshop team, you will be responsible for assessing and estimating the damage to vehicles, ensuring that all repairs are carried out to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of the damage
  • Prepare and maintain accurate electronic and manual estimates of repair costs and timeframes
  • Liaise with insurance companies to obtain authority to repair vehicles at estimated costs
  • Work effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians to explain and ensure understanding of repair methodologies
  • Stay up-to-date with all repair methodologies and manufacturer literature and bulletins
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the bodyshop and across other functional areas to ensure seamless repair processes
Requirements
  • NVQ level 3/City & Guilds or ATA qualification in Vehicle Damage Assessment and Repair
  • Proven experience in a bodyshop or related field
  • Full UK driving licence
