About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Pricing Product Owner EMEA to join our team at Boston Scientific. As a key member of our Pricing Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining EMEA Pricing Policy, building processes and solutions to support its execution, and monitoring divisional pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and support the development and maintenance of infrastructure within the pricing pillar (processes & tools) to drive real and sustained pricing performance while complying with EMEA pricing policy.
  • Act as a technology expert, owning and supporting maintenance and enhancements of pricing processes and solutions, and providing user support and training for the internal pricing team.
  • Evaluate and improve tools to ensure they are easy to use and deliver value to our customers and BSC.
  • Own the business requirement gathering process for assigned technical projects, supporting both divisions and the CoE.
  • Bridge functional and technical understanding for divisions, CoE, and IS department.
  • Support technology integration and data management.
  • Work closely with the IS department, Global project teams, and external 3rd parties to develop, enhance, and roll out technologies and processes.
  • Coordinate maintenance and user support processes of owned products to deliver the best user experience.
  • Project management skills: demonstrate the discipline of planning, prioritizing, executing, and monitoring projects and change activities to achieve specified outcomes within a clearly defined timeframe.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and Jira is a plus.
  • Develop detailed project plans that consider milestones, resource implications, timing, and costs.
  • Follow up and execute efficiently project plans, budget, resources, including external vendors, and timelines to ensure goals are achieved.
  • Develop solutions for overcoming risks to ensure project success; recognize the need to escalate issues when proposed solutions are not producing desired results.
  • Contribute to strategy implementation by aligning own work tasks with the strategy and plan, fully utilizing the BSC change management methodology and toolkit.
  • Proactive thinking: anticipate needs and actions needed on process and technologies and drive necessary activities to execute.
  • Bring innovative ideas: generate new ideas, methods, processes, and solutions. Continuously use imagination, creativity, and critical thinking to solve problems and meet needs.
  • Question assumptions and conduct root cause analysis to understand the situation, its causes, and impacts.
  • Critically evaluate opportunities to improve and suggest creative solutions to increase team/function performance.
  • Subject Matter Expert: be the expert and internal go-to person within the team for knowledge on owned solutions and processes.
  • Data-driven decisions: support data-driven decisions that shape and deliver the best possible business and customer outcomes.
  • Apply best practice methodologies to identify, gather, and analyze customer data from multiple sources; apply technical knowledge and judgment to select most appropriate KPIs and data visualization tools/techniques.
  • Monitor key business performance metrics to achieve objectives.
  • Value proposition: support analysis and development of differentiated value propositions to promote and sell new ideas and projects.
  • Perform value analysis of new ideas and projects to customers or internal business stakeholders.
  • Generate, test, and refine value propositions and project briefs/proposals based on insights from the value analysis.
