Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Manager to join our team in Madrid. As a QA Manager, you will be responsible for supervising allocated projects, providing feedback and liaison with Functional & Compliance QA, Producers, Developers, & other External Departments, and managing bug reports, bug database, & QA reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Senior Lead QA Testers, Lead QA Testers, and QA Testers
  • Joint sign-off of development milestones & managing the submission process
  • Manage department on a day-to-day business
  • Performance appraisals of direct reports
  • Raising disciplinary issues as appropriate
  • Build successful working relationships with Worldwide Development Studios Internal & External, QA Department locally & globally, Local Producers, Platform Holders, Producers, and developers, and Third Party Developers Internal & External
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, internally & externally
  • Management skills to include: successfully handling ambiguity, flexibility & understanding of the development process, and maintain good relations with producers & developers
  • Knowledge of bug database systems, QA process, test plan creation, and bug writing process
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Lead QA Tester or equivalent
  • Knowledge of format holder standards (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo)
