About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team at Expedia Spain. As a key member of our Commercial Finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial insights and analysis to support the growth of our Global Inside Sales business.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform financial modeling of commercial deals for the Global Inside Sales portfolio and assist with the negotiation and contracting to see those deals through completion.
- Analyze and assess current business performance to drive top and bottom-line improvements across the Global Inside Sales portfolio.
- Finance lead in the preparation of the annual plan and quarterly forecasting processes for the Global Inside Sales portfolio.
- Ensure delivery of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial management information and high-level commentary for distribution at an Executive level.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to support cross-regional commercial projects and initiatives as well as deep-dives into specific topics to support the growth of the business.
- Work with the finance team and sales leadership to drive improvements in operational reporting, focused on delivering greater insight to business performance.
- Enhance, develop, and implement improved processes and controls to facilitate sustainable, profitable scaling of Global Inside Sales business.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree, 2:1 or above (or equivalent) and strong academic background.
- Highly fluent in English.
- Confirmed commercial finance experience.
- Validated ability to analyze data to solve business problems and provide strong business insight.
- Proven ability to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non-finance audiences.
- Proven ability to operate autonomously and to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
- A relationship builder, exceptional listener and skilled negotiator.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced Excel and presentation skills.
- Experienced and enthusiastic working in dynamic, entrepreneurial environments.
- Someone who thrives in large, global, fast-moving organizations.
