**Job Summary**
Wood Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer to join our Project Control team. As a key member of the team, you will provide a comprehensive planning service to the project management team, leveraging your expertise in managing large, complex projects with a global reach.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Develop detailed engineering schedules in conjunction with lead discipline engineers, ensuring seamless project execution.
• Design and implement engineering progress measurement systems, providing regular reporting on progress and productivity to the project management team.
• Coordinate schedule interfaces between licensors' and subcontractors' activities, ensuring timely completion of project milestones.
• Provide regular forecasting of project schedule, including key milestones, to inform project management decisions.
• Lead regular schedule review meetings with the project team, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
• Produce weekly and monthly progress reports to the project management team, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
• Mentor and develop locally hired Planning team members, fostering a culture of excellence and knowledge sharing.
• Utilize data analytics and visualization tools to create interactive dashboards and reports, providing actionable insights to inform project decisions.
**Requirements:**
• Relevant degree or Chartered Engineer status, with a proven track record in engineering and construction of refinery, oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar facilities.
• Experience in FEED and EPC projects, including revamp projects, with a strong understanding of project planning and control.
• Proven problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in Primavera P6 and spreadsheets, with database capability, to support project planning and control.
• Self-motivated, energetic, and tenacious, with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Native-level proficiency in Spanish, with excellent command of English.
