Senior Planning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer to join our Project Control team at Oilandgas.Org.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in engineering and construction of refinery, oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar facilities. Experience of FEED and EPC projects, including revamp projects, is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Development of detailed engineering schedules in conjunction with lead discipline engineers
  • Development of engineering progress measurement systems and reporting of progress and productivity
  • Co-ordination of schedule interfaces between licensors' and subcontractors' activities
  • Provide regular forecasting of project schedule including key milestones
  • Lead regular schedule review meetings with the project team
  • Production of weekly and monthly progress reports to the project management team
  • Mentoring and development of locally hired Planning team members, where appropriate
Requirements
  • Relevant degree / Chartered Engineer or appropriate experience
  • Proven track record in engineering and construction of refinery, oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar facilities
  • Experience of FEED and EPC projects, including revamp projects
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Expert with Primavera P6 and spreadsheets, with database capability
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and tenacious
