About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer to join our team at Vèringer Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing project schedules, defining resource requirements, and optimizing planning and scheduling systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring compliance with selected execution strategies.
  • Define and optimize resource requirements, including personnel and equipment.
  • Design and implement planning and scheduling systems, including methods, procedures, and dashboards.
  • Develop project breakdown structures and plan work fronts at site.
  • Mitigate risks and reduce costs through effective planning and scheduling.
  • Obtain client approval for schedule baselines and progress claims.
  • Enhance project team members' awareness of project milestones, main durations, and critical paths.
  • Monitor project status, detect delays, and propose corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with advanced knowledge of EPCm work processes.
  • Experience in cost control is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of scheduling computer tools, including Primavera Project Planner and Microsoft Project.
  • Microsoft Office and Power BI skills are required.
  • Fluency in English is essential, with French and German being valuable assets.
