Sous Chef Job Description

Aureo Resort La Union is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As the second-in-command, you will assist the Executive Chef in maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in menu planning and design to ensure consistency and excellence in food presentation.
  • Supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service.
  • Manage inventory and supplies to maintain optimal kitchen operations.
  • Enforce sanitation and safety regulations to ensure a clean and healthy work environment.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new recipes and menu items.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to train and develop kitchen staff.
