MISSION:

The Lifecycle Management team at COTY supports the brands and business by managing the end-to-end lifecycle of products, in line with the brand strategy, from initial conception to phase-out and disposal of discontinued products. It is the interface between business and supply chain.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Initiative Sizing:
    1. Establish the global potential for each initiative, aligning with CCO, Global/Trade Marketing, and Division Finance, and track deviations between reality and target. Deploy action plans to close gaps.
    2. Ensure minimum order quantities (MOQs) for new initiatives are aligned with launch potential. Arbitrate with Division finance if compromises are needed.
    3. Set up targeted safety stock strategies with Planning Hub and Trade Marketing, considering supply lead-times and business opportunities. Revise strategies after first sell-out results.
  2. Launch Monitoring:
    1. Manage commercial priorities and early shipment requests where required.
    2. Create, maintain, and communicate brand product catalogues.
    3. Conduct annual analysis on brand portfolios.
    4. Monitor low forecast SKUs and propose catalogue simplification.
  3. PIPO/DISCO MANAGEMENT:
    1. Develop PIPO strategies to meet project financials and monitor performance.
    2. Understand regional portfolio optimization input and develop discontinuation recommendations aligned with Brand strategy.
    3. Validate or reject PIPO/DISCO candidates.
    4. Ensure target Disco Dates align with Trade Marketing.
    5. Validate Disco/PIPO strategies after feedback from Planning Hub.
  4. Manage excess stock from a business perspective, developing tactical and structural action plans with commercial teams.
