In House Legal: Global Employment Specialist

Celonis is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our global Employment Law, Privacy, Ethics & Compliance team as an Intern. This part-time position will be based in Madrid and will provide an opportunity to support the Employment Team at a global level.
Key Responsibilities- Support the employment legal team in coordinating compliance and advisory queries, identifying best practices, and defining standards, processes, and policies.
- Conduct legal research on cases and trends, and analyze legal updates at a global level to keep stakeholders informed.
- Assist in labor compliance regulations, supporting efforts to comply with various countries' laws regarding labor and employment.
- Prepare training materials and build out systems and processes to help the legal team work efficiently with the People & Culture team.
- Draft internal company policies and processes, and ensure complete documentation to proof accountability.
- Student of Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Basic knowledge of international law, labor, and employment, human resources issues, and a keen interest in learning about other compliance requirements.
- Strong communication skills, confidence in interacting with different stakeholders, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple activities at once.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written (any additional language is a plus, especially Spanish and German).
