System Engineer for Space Infrastructure Development

The Role:

GTD Sistemas de Información is a leading engineering company specializing in the design and development of complex and safety-critical applications for space transportation, earth observation, and science exploration missions.

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our Space area, where you will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of a new project for Guiana Space Port.


Position Activities:
1. Technical lead for the development of a virtualized and hyperconverged infrastructure for the new project.
2. Responsible for ensuring the security and reliability of the infrastructure using distributed information and highly critical security software that aims to prevent launcher malfunctions and ensure safe operations.
3. Collaborate with the team to design and develop software solutions that meet the project's requirements and ensure the success of the mission.

Requirements:
- Strong technical background in system engineering and software development.
- Experience with virtualization, containers, and distributed information systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
