Aistech Space is seeking an entry-level Back-End developer to join our Applications Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and implementing the necessary infrastructure to sustain Aistech Space applications dedicated to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the applications development team to understand Aistech Space mission objectives.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve the back-end infrastructure.
  • Recommend adoption of new technologies, products, and services.
  • Definition and analysis of back-end software and infrastructure requirements and correspondence implementation in code using an Agile methodology.
  • Write testable code, documentation, and presentations.
  • Actively engage in the development of documentation to build out the company procedures and specification manuals.
  • Follow your curiosity to suggest new ideas to make our products and processes better.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Python/Bash/Go/NodeJS.
  • Experience in API design, concurrency, and distributed systems.
  • Experience in data modeling and storage with both NoSQL and relational databases.
  • Desirable experience working with containerized applications (e.g. Docker) and knowledge of orchestration systems (e.g. Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform).
  • BsC/MsC in Information Technologies, Computer Sciences, Engineering and/or Physics, or equivalent experience.

Where You Will Be

You will be located and based in our Barcelona, Spain office. Some travel between offices and other potential Aistech and customer locations worldwide may be required. We are open to remote employees, to be evaluated on a case by case basis.
