Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Server and Beverage Attendant to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure that orders are prepared correctly and delivered to guests in a timely manner.
  • Manage cash and credit transactions accurately, handling cash, credit card payments, and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards and company policies.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve high levels of guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a food and beverage service role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tables and priorities simultaneously.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
