About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled VP of Data and Analytics to lead our data strategy and drive business growth at Wallapop. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Vision and Leadership: Develop and implement a data strategy that drives business growth and informs key decisions.
  2. Cutting-Edge Data Solutions: Lead the development and execution of a resilient data infrastructure that provides actionable insights and drives strategic decision-making.
  3. Collaboration and Integration: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure data requirements are met and product evolution is aligned with company goals.
  4. Innovation and Best Practices: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and best practices in data, driving innovation and excellence across the organization.
Requirements
  1. Technical Proficiency: Proven experience in data strategy, leadership, and technical skills to mentor team members in methodologies such as human behavior analysis, statistical analysis, machine learning, and data governance practices.
  2. Leadership and Effective Collaboration and Communication: Adaptable mindset with the ability to make tough decisions through ambiguity and uncertainty in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  3. Expertise in Personalization-Driven Products: Proven experience working on products with a heavy emphasis on personalization is highly valued.
