Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Japanese to Italian video game translator to join our team in Málaga, Spain. As a video game translator, you will be responsible for localizing games to the highest quality standards, working in a multicultural and dynamic office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in temporary in-house AAA game translation projects
- Translate Japanese content into Italian with high accuracy and quality
- Meet deadlines and follow established processes and project instructions
- Collaborate with the team to ensure successful project completion
- Adhere to Localsoft's confidentiality and security policy
Requirements:
- Japanese working proficiency
- Excellent native language skills
- University degree in Translation
- 2+ years of full-time translation/editing experience in the games industry or 5+ years of experience in a similar field
- Ability to work in a multicultural, dynamic, and deadline-driven office environment
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
- IT literacy: Microsoft Office suite and CAT tool
