About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Amazon Business team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative software solutions that meet the needs of our business customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable and efficient software systems that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs and develop technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code, ensuring it is reliable, secure, and meets industry standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Work with the team to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to help them grow in their careers.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in professional software development.
  • Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
  • Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems.
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate in spoken and written English in a business setting.
