**Job Summary**

Chronos Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research and Development Specialist to join our team in the field of neurosurgery. As a key member of our Clinical R&D Neurosurgical team, you will be responsible for initiating and leading neurosurgical research and clinical programs in new centers, collaborating with researchers to promote technology publications, and working with scientific customers to characterize and execute in/ex vivo experiments.

**Responsibilities**

  • Initiate and lead neurosurgical research and clinical programs in new centers, ensuring successful execution and timely completion of research milestones.
  • Participate in treatments of clinical and experimental brain indications, demonstrating expertise and in-depth understanding of the technology.
  • Contribute to the completion of research milestones at the regional, national, and/or international level, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Train and guide researchers, clinical personnel, and account/business employees on new and existing centers, ensuring seamless adoption of technology.
  • Support techno-clinical R&D activities, assist in defining specifications for new generations of existing products and new indications, and collaborate with researchers to promote technology publications.
  • Work with scientific customers to characterize and execute in/ex vivo experiments, ensuring high-quality results and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with researchers to promote technology publications, presenting research findings at conferences and workshops.
  • Domestic and international traveling of at least 50% of the time, with occasional requirements to work weekends and nights, and engage in overnight travel.

**Requirements**

  • Scientific Degree and 2+ years of biomedical/neuroscience/medical research experience (Master's or PhD).
  • Hands-on experience in at least one of the following specialty areas: MRI, ultrasound, Operating Room.
  • Experience in the guidance of medical personnel and with complex multi-disciplinary products.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work autonomously and professionally, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Fast learner, with the ability to find optimal techno-clinical solutions to first-time-seen problems.
  • Able to lecture in front of a large audience, with excellent presentation and communication skills.
