**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly experienced and well-versed PMLS expert to join our team as a Field Service Engineer. As a key member of our ultra-ambitious team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers across Spain and Portugal.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide remote support to distributors' engineers and end-users.
  • Offer internal technical support to the service sales and operation department.
  • Deliver field service to end-users across Spain and Portugal.
  • Manage the effective service area, promoting new contracts and liaising with customers for renewals.
  • Take a project management role for installations within assigned service territory and coordinate the installation of large orders if required.
  • Complete all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits on time and to the levels outlined in the service manual.
  • Assist the sales and marketing team with tender opportunities as technical support and to promote service contracts.
  • Maintain tools and test equipment properly and liaise with the Service Supervisor/Manager to ensure they are calibrated.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory, company vehicle, and other company equipment and supplies.
  • Occasionally train clinical staff on designated equipment.
  • Track and maintain both parts and loaner inventories allocated to them.

**Requirements**

  • Extensive knowledge of Defibrillators, Patient Monitors, and other medical device capital equipment.
  • Experience of working in Spain requiring no company sponsorship to join our business.
  • Experience of providing training on medical devices capital equipment.
  • Highly customer-focused with a hunger to achieve more.
  • Technically proficient in the troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of all medical products.
  • Evidence of emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to address customer requests through strong listening skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong relationships.
  • Proven negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude.
