Global Buyer for Mechanical Components

Key Responsibilities- Implement and manage the global commodity strategy for selected mechanical components, ensuring alignment with business expectations and value capture across the value chain.
- Lead the full sourcing process, including demand/market analysis, RFIs, RFPs, negotiations, contracting, and supplier awarding, in collaboration with key stakeholders and in line with SGRE's policies and processes.
- Identify and develop regional or global suppliers, markets, or regions for assigned sub-commodities, semi-products, and services portfolios in various Business Units of SGRE.
- Maintain close contact with internal and external interface partners to build and maintain a communicative purchasing network, recognizing developments and opportunities.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Construction, Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 7 years of work experience in procurement, with a proven track record, ideally in a global organization.
- Strong commercial and technical understanding, knowledge of procurement, project management, and international contract law.
- Experience in advanced international negotiations, strategic sourcing, and people management.
- Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, and ability to manage and interact in teams.
- Fluent English language skills, preferably with an additional language.
