Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineer for Electrolyzers

About the Role
Nordex Group is seeking a skilled Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing maintenance plans for our electrolyzer systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance plans in collaboration with the technical team.
- Manage consumables inventories, request quotations, and define technical specifications for sourcing.
- Coordinate with suppliers for maintenance analysis and resolution of doubts.
- Research alternative materials and components for spare parts and consumables.
- Assemble and maintain electrical, mechanical, thermal, pneumatical, and gas installations, as well as instrumentation and control systems, serving our electrolyzer testing facilities.
- Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical assembly and maintenance of test benches, prototypes, and experimental facilities designed by our technical team.
- Assemble experimental stacks designed by our technical team.
- Participate in the commissioning and testing of equipment for installations defined by the technical team.
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering (mechanical or electric and electronical), Chemical Engineering, or similar.
- Valuable knowledge in explosive atmospheres (ATEX), hydrogen technologies, pressurized gas installations, low voltage installations, and chemical products handling.
- Fluent in English.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Mechanical Engineering defining maintenance operations.
- At least 2 years of experience in assembly and maintenance of oil and gas industrial installations and/or pressurized gas installations and/or explosive atmospheres.
