About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Audio Programmer to join our team at Empresa Reconocida. As a key member of our Backbone technology team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing audio features and tools for our bespoke engine, Glacier.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement audio features and tools for our Glacier engine
  • Work in-engine, improving, prioritizing, and optimizing runtime code that executes the game
  • Develop audio systems, workflows, and tooling, both individually and in collaboration with our Audio Programmer
  • Work on game-specific audio development, including gameplay audio code and triggers for gameplay interaction
  • Maintain, optimize, and improve existing systems
  • Collaborate closely with sound designers to help them create a top-notch audio experience
Requirements
  • Excellent C++ and code design skills
  • Experience writing runtime and memory-efficient code, debugging, and maintaining complex software systems
  • Knack for gameplay programming and tools development
  • Advanced knowledge of mathematics
