Job Summary

Worldwide Recruitment Solutions (Wrs) is seeking a highly skilled Scheduler (Senior Planning Engineer) to join our team in Madrid on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in planning and scheduling major capital projects in the Oil and Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain project control systems, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring.
  • Develop and implement planning and scheduling control systems to support Engineering and Construction supervisors.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to Engineering and Construction supervisors in planning and scheduling.
  • Revise and approve the Project Baseline Schedule and the Progress Measurement System.
  • Analyze major capital projects to plan the most effective execution sequence.
  • Discuss and resolve long-term and short-term planning and scheduling problems with personnel throughout the Company and with contractor organizations.
  • Act as a technical consultant and assist in the technical evaluation of contracts.

Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree
  • 10-15 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry petrochemical projects
  • Knowledge of Primavera Software
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical skills
