Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Officer to join our team in Barcelona. As a Legal Officer, you will be responsible for providing legal support to our international client portfolio, working closely with our Legal Account Managers to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with corporate maintenance of client companies, including updating and preparing official documents, such as deeds, contracts, minutes, certificates, and tax registrations.
- Support the incorporation of companies and/or shelf companies, handling legal-related tasks, and establishing, maintaining, processing, and updating files, records, certificates, and other related documents.
- Prepare and file forms to comply with and communicate with local authorities, including tax registrations and bank reporting.
- Update the minutes book, stakeholders register, and intake forms, ensuring compliance files are fully updated and meet quality standards.
- Represent the company externally, including notary offices, banks, and local authorities, and perform administrative tasks, such as preparing cover letters and courier arrangements.
Requirements
- Degree in Law.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
- Consolidated experience in Corporate Law or Commercial Law.
- Advanced or proficient English.
- Excellent written and communication skills in Spanish.
- Proficiency in MS Office package.
- Strong team-playing skills, quick-learning, and flexibility towards changing environments.
