About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled International People Director to join our team at Empresa reconocida. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies that drive growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Crafting Business Strategies: Develop and deploy business strategies through partnership and local operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  2. Strategic Business Partner: Act as a trusted advisor to our leadership team, providing guidance, coaching, and development support to drive business results.
  3. People and Communications Management: Oversee labor relations, people operations, and communications processes, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
  4. Workforce Planning and M&A Support: Facilitate workforce planning, mergers and acquisitions support, and organization development, ensuring seamless integration and growth.
  5. Leadership Development: Support leaders in driving people and communications initiatives that align with business objectives and inspire a culture of excellence.
  6. Employee Engagement and Inclusion: Champion employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering a workplace that values and respects all employees.
  7. Change Management and Communications: Lead change management and internal and external communications efforts, ensuring a smooth transition and effective messaging.
  8. Local Operations and Support: Oversee local people and communications operations, providing support and coverage for all employees within your responsibility area.
  9. Employment Lifecycle and Wellbeing: Advise on the employment lifecycle, promoting health and wellbeing, and overseeing activities of HR Business Partners, Labor Relations, and People Operations.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree.
  2. Experience: Proven experience as an International People Director, spanning multiple countries, including Spain.
  3. Matrix Structure Experience: Experience working in a matrix structure.
  4. Transformation and Change Management: Experience leading transformation and change management initiatives.
  5. Industrial and Workplace Relations: Experience managing industrial and workplace relations.
  6. Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of People, Communications, and Safety related regulations and legislation.
  7. Language Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish.
  8. Location: Based in Madrid.
  9. Travel: Willingness to travel as required.
