The Business Planning and Operations team is essential in pinpointing strategic avenues and realizing business objectives through analytical insights and interdepartmental collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute strategic operations and analytical tasks within the e-commerce sector, connecting strategies across various domains such as industries, sellers, products, creators, and partners; work collaboratively to ensure high-quality strategy formulation and drive business expansion.
- Adopt a data-centric methodology to develop business analysis frameworks, track the progress of key performance indicators, identify business opportunities and risks, and deliver robust business assessments along with actionable solutions.
- Engage in interviews and surveys with sellers, creators, and users to gather insights regarding their platform needs.
- Collaborate with teams to establish annual or bi-monthly business objectives and implementation plans; regularly conduct business evaluations, summarizing strategies for improvement and methodologies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in your penultimate year pursuing a bachelor's degree, or in your final year transitioning to a Master's program, graduating in 2026; available for a 3-month period starting in June 2025.
- Demonstrated sense of product accountability and innovation, self-motivated, and results-driven.
- Strong analytical skills, with a penchant for dissecting complex issues and systematically resolving them.
- Effective communication skills and capabilities in project facilitation.
- Proficient in English as a working language.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, with preferred internship experience in e-commerce, business analysis, or strategy roles within internet companies or management consulting.
- Exceptional logical reasoning and data sensitivity; strong user-oriented perspective, eager to leverage internet products to enhance operational efficiency.
- Solid understanding of business models associated with TikTok and other content-driven platforms.
- Strong numerical reasoning and modeling capabilities, with proficiency in Excel (knowledge of SQL is advantageous).
- Ability to influence business decisions and propose enhancements through analytical insights.
- Fluency in English (Spanish is a plus); adept in cross-cultural communication and collaboration in a global work environment.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving environment.
