**Job Summary**
Ingram Micro is seeking a highly skilled Revenue Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist the Revenue Accounting Director in ensuring compliance with FASB/IASB revenue recognition standards, internal controls, and company policies.
- Partner with the Commercial team to review multi-year and other customer contracts to identify accounting issues and monitor compliance with revenue recognition policies.
- Evaluate and document the accounting treatment for non-standard revenue transactions.
- Partner with local Finance and business teams to drive and streamline process improvements within the revenue recognition close process.
- Continuously evaluate and improve revenue accounting processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Provide training and education to local finance and business teams on revenue recognition related topics.
- Support the Director, Revenue Accounting, and work with local Finance and business teams to establish revenue recognition processes for countries and provide ongoing guidance.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive financial and accounting experience.
- Experience in accounting system/process transformations and SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, and working with US GAAP or IFRS.
- Experience driving process improvement and other project management experience.
- Advanced Excel and other MS Office suite skills.
- Highly organized, exhibit high levels of attention to detail.
- Worked in global companies with co-workers in multiple time zones (EMEA, APAC, etc.).
- Ability to work in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Friendly demeanor, ability to get along with people and work in teams.
