Senior Software Engineer

At Handly, we're revolutionizing the way entrepreneurs launch, manage, and grow their home service businesses. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our business-in-a-box platform, which simplifies daily operations, quotes, invoicing, scheduling, and payments for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions
  • Likely own and implement multiple payment orchestrations end-to-end
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience with software development in more than one programming language and with data structures/algorithms
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, and/or launching software products and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture
  • 1 year of experience in fintech
  • Experience in mobile application development
  • Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role
  • Experience developing accessible technologies
  • Experience coding in C#, Dart, and TypeScript
  • Experience with frameworks like Flutter, Angular, and.NET
  • Experience working with Terraform and AWS
  • Experience with configuring CI/CD
  • Interest in full stack development
About the Team:

Our tech team is responsible for the following platforms at Handly: Flutter mobile application for craft companies, Angular web application for craft companies, Angular web application for internal operations,.NET web API, and associated infrastructure in AWS powered by Terraform. This application stack services thousands of craft businesses, helping them manage their customers, employee work schedules, jobs, and appointments.
