High Throughput Experimentation Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) in Spain. The successful candidate will work in the High Throughput Experimentation Unit, supporting cutting-edge research through the rapid exploration of chemical reaction space.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment, including GC-MS, UPLC-MS, SFC, and glove box.
- Development of analytical methods using GC-MS/FID, UPLC-MS/DAD, and SFC-DAD for compound identification and quantification in complex mixtures.
- Development of data processing methods and data visualization workflows with HTE-analysis software.
- Preparation of pre-dosed reaction plates and execution of HTE screening campaigns.
- Run preparative HPLC-MS/DAD purifications to isolate target compounds.
- Provide scientific and technical training to researchers in HTE methodology and associated techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
- Chromatography knowledge and experience.
- Organic synthesis knowledge and experience.
- Motivation and ability to solve complex problems.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Organized and meticulous person.
- Remuneration according to individual's qualification and experience.
- Annual salary split into twelve monthly payments.
