The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to lead our plant's quality efforts. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for executing and deploying our Strategic Quality Plan, ensuring product flow meets internal and external standards, and providing total quality leadership to our customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Leadership
    • Manage the quality/customer interface to ensure requirements are understood and satisfied.
    • Lead the problem resolution process, including ensuring timely deadlines and using standard reporting tools.
    • Monitor and improve customer scorecard performance, engaging relevant departments in root cause/corrective action activities.
  • Quality Department Management
    • Manage the Plant Quality Department, including leading, implementing, and verifying quality management systems.
    • Provide quality leadership and support in product development and launch activities.
  • Auditing and Compliance
    • Oversee and/or lead auditing of internal quality systems and industry quality system requirements.
    • Monitor production part approval documentation to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Quality Metrics and Analysis
    • Analyze organizational quality metrics and perform managerial reviews to evaluate results and recommend action plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in a quality function in a manufacturing environment in the automotive sector.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role in a quality department.
  • Fluency in English.
