Job Title: Software Development Engineer, Ring Device Services

Ring is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Device Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying software solutions that enable our devices to interact with our cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software solutions for our devices, including firmware and software updates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, reliable, and scalable software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the highest quality of software solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development and apply this knowledge to improve our software solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or C#.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
