Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Director to lead our VAS Issuing Solutions team in Southern Europe. As a key member of our European Sales organization, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Regional Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve annual sales and revenue targets in Southern Europe.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead a team of 5-7 direct reports, including senior and sales managers, to drive sales and account management efforts in the region.
  3. Sales Enablement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement sales strategies, processes, and tools to support sales teams in the region.
  4. Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers at leading issuers, banks, and lenders in the region.
  5. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capture them.
  6. Performance Management: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales team performance and provide coaching and feedback to improve results.
  7. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with VAS Legal and regulatory obligations in the region and manage risk associated with sales activities.
  8. Thought Leadership: Establish yourself as a thought leader in the VAS Issuing Solutions market, both internally and externally, through industry events, speaking engagements, and thought leadership articles.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a strong background in sales strategy, team leadership, and customer engagement.
  • Deep understanding of the VAS Issuing Solutions market and the needs of issuers, banks, and lenders in Southern Europe.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex sales data and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
