About the Role

**Geographic Information Systems Specialist - ESRI Platform**

We are seeking a highly skilled Geographic Information Systems Specialist to join our team in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our Digital Management division, you will play a critical role in designing and maintaining robust enterprise Geodatabases using the ESRI platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Requirements Gathering**: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their spatial data needs and requirements for building on-premises and public-facing GeoDatabases.
  • **Database Design**: Design the structure of the GeoDatabase, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
  • **Data Modeling**: Develop data models that reflect client requirements, ensuring spatial data is organized and stored efficiently.
  • **Data Migration**: Coordinate the auditing and migration of existing spatial data into the client's enterprise GeoDatabase.
  • **GeoDatabase Administration**: Configure and administer the client's GeoDatabase, ensuring optimal functionality and security.
  • **Metadata Management**: Establish metadata standards and documentation procedures for the GeoDatabase.
  • **Quality Assurance**: Implement quality assurance processes to validate the accuracy of spatial data.
  • **Training and Support**: Provide training and support to users on accessing and updating spatial data.
  • **Integration**: Integrate the GeoDatabases with other client enterprise systems and applications.
  • **Spatial Analysis**: Perform spatial analysis tasks using ESRI tools to support decision-making.
  • **Documentation**: Document all aspects of the client's enterprise GeoDatabase design and maintenance.
  • **Continuous Improvement**: Stay up-to-date with the latest ESRI technologies to continuously improve the client's spatial data infrastructure.
Requirements
  • **Highly Proficient in Spoken and Written English**: Excellent command (Level C1 Advanced).
  • **10+ Years of Experience**: Hands-on experience working with GIS software, particularly the ESRI suite of products.
  • **Demonstrated Expertise**: Experience in designing and managing enterprise GeoDatabases using ESRI technologies.
  • **Database Design and Spatial Data Modeling**: Expertise in database design, spatial data modeling, and schema creation.
