Electronics Design Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at GMV. As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and verification of new electronic products based mainly on embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronic devices and systems using microcontrollers, FPGAs, and other electronic components.
  • Conduct component selection and procurement assistance to ensure the best possible solutions.
  • Create schematic and PCB designs using electronic design automation (EDA) software such as Altium Designer.
  • Design and develop test benches to verify the functionality of electronic devices.
  • Test and validate electronic products to ensure they meet the required specifications.
  • Generate documentation related to the designed products, including user manuals and technical specifications.
  • Evaluate and implement customized modifications to existing GMV products.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English is required.
  • At least two years of experience in electronic design.
  • Knowledge of digital, analog, and power electronics design.
  • Proficiency in electronic design automation (EDA) software such as Altium Designer.
  • Familiarity with basic and advanced test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.

Desirable Skills:

  • High-density PCB design experience.
  • Knowledge of signal integrity for high-speed designs.
  • Design for EMC compatibility.
  • Experience with tools for test development, including embedded C, C++, Python, Bash, and Git.
  • Knowledge of ECSS standards.
