Electronics Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at Alén Space. As a key member of our Electronic Development Area, you will be responsible for designing and verifying new electronic products based on embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electronic devices based on microcontrollers, FPGAs, and other technologies.
  • Select and procure components, and assist with procurement processes.
  • Create schematic and PCB designs, and develop test benches.
  • Test and verify prototypes, and perform formal product acceptance.
  • Generate documentation related to designed products, and evaluate and implement customized modifications to existing products.
Requirements:
  • Fluency in English.
  • At least two years of experience in electronic design.
  • Knowledge of digital, analog, and power electronics design.
  • Proficiency in electronic design automation (EDA) software, such as Altium Designer.
  • Familiarity with basic and advanced test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
Desirable Skills:
  • High-density PCB design experience.
  • Signal integrity expertise for high-speed designs.
  • Design for EMC compatibility knowledge.
  • Familiarity with tools for test development, including embedded C, C++, Python, Bash, and Git.
  • Knowledge of ECSS standards.
