Job Title: Space Mechanical Systems Engineer

Alén Space is seeking a highly skilled Space Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team in the Space Missions division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the mechanical and structural design of satellites, including modeling, simulation, and analysis of components and structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop satellite mechanical subsystems, ensuring compliance with mission requirements.
  • Develop optimized structures to withstand the conditions of launch and the space environment.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize the structural and thermal performance of the satellite.
  • Validate design through finite element simulations.
  • Ensure compliance with technical and regulatory mission requirements.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Provide support in mission analysis areas, including the selection of physical components, defining mission and technical specifications, and managing internal and external interfaces.
  • Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure compatibility between different satellite subsystems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of prior experience in the mechanical and structural design of satellites or the aerospace industry.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in advanced modeling and simulation tools such as SOLIDWORKS.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
