About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Researcher to join our Data Visualization and Analytics group at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). As a Researcher, you will play a key role in pushing the boundaries of data visualization in interactive applications, with a focus on AI explainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop innovative information and data visualizations in urban, industrial, and arts research lines.
  • Conduct research on visual approaches to AI explainability, collaborating with researchers and engineers in the group.
  • Help write reports, deliverables, and research proposals to secure funding for future projects.
Requirements
  • PhD Degree in Information Design or related fields.
  • Essential knowledge and professional experience in designing interactive data visualizations, usability of data visualization interaction, and applied data science projects.
  • Basic knowledge of AI and advanced statistical models.
  • Strong initiative to carry on research projects in varying fields.
