We are seeking a highly skilled Researcher to join our Data Visualization and Analytics group at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). The successful candidate will work on AI explainability, pushing the boundaries of data visualization in interactive applications.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop information and data visualizations for urban, industrial, and arts research lines.
- Conduct research on visual approaches to AI explainability, collaborating with researchers and engineers in the group.
- Help write reports, deliverables, and research proposals.
- PhD Degree in Information Design or related fields.
- Experience with designing interactive data visualizations, usability of data visualization interaction, and applied data science projects.
- Basic knowledge of AI and advanced statistical models.
- Strong initiative to carry on research projects in varying fields.
- A full-time contract (37.5h/week) at BSC within the CASE Department.
- A good working environment, highly stimulating environment with state-of-the-art infrastructure.
- Flexible working hours, extensive training plan, restaurant tickets, private health insurance.
- Duration: 4 years.
- Salary: 45,000.00€.
- Additional Expenses Grant: Each fellowship will be associated with a grant for additional expenses.
