Job Title: Senior Researcher in Metal-Air Battery Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Researcher to join our team at Adecco, specializing in metal-air battery development. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for leading projects related to metal-air battery technology, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the development of innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead metal-air battery projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
  • Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement new technologies
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in metal-air battery systems
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, academia, and other stakeholders to advance metal-air battery research and development
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Sciences, Industrial Engineering, Physics, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in metal-air battery projects
  • Participation in at least 4 European projects (H2020, FP7, etc.) or equivalent private enterprise experience
  • Excellent oral and written skills in English
  • Strong analytical, software, and calculation skills
  • Experience in research centers or companies, with a minimum stay of 1 year
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as Principal Investigator in regional/national/European projects or direct contracting
  • Experience as director/a of doctoral/PhD theses
  • Experience leading student grade/master projects or equivalent projects
  • Experience as first author in at least three scientific articles
  • Valuable knowledge of electrochemical modeling systems
  • Other languages, excluding mother tongue, can be valued
  • Valuable to have obtained Torres Quevedo, Juan de la Cierva, Ramon and Cajal, Marie Curie or equivalent competitive research contracts
  • Time of stays in different centers of realization of the Doctoral Thesis
