**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Engineer Process Development - Intelligent Automation to join our team at BD. As a key member of our Intelligent Automation team, you will be responsible for developing site-specific roadmaps for digital solutions, machine learning, and technical solutions across multiple sites.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with Intelligent Automation leadership and key staff members to develop site-specific roadmaps for digital solutions, machine learning, and technical solutions across multiple sites.
- Design and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve product quality in collaboration with technical systems engineers.
- Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend technological solutions.
- Develop process concepts, project charters, and business justifications, as well as risk analysis, feasibility studies, and proof of concept.
- Manage external contractors and vendors for process development and technology transfer projects.
- Collaborate with the Intelligent Automation team and other functions to develop and implement playbooks for the implementation and replication of intelligent automation technology solutions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues, improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), and drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
- Maintain strong relationships with counterparts in Manufacturing/Operations, business units, Global Integrated Engineering, BD Excellence, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance to ensure timely and transparent alignment of strategies and goals.
- Provide mentoring and building of engineering capabilities to support the continuous evolution of Intelligent Automation technology through skills identification and assessment, capability building, and training of associates.
